Our condolences to all the Hunter family.
David was a wonderful husband,a proud family man and a dear friend. I first met Dave when he met Colleen, and was bridesmaid at their wedding. He remained friends with the Wynn family and we would always catch up with him when we visited ChCh from Canada.
Memories of camping at Kaikoura, watching he and the 'Boys' run the City to Surf, and the friendship he gave to our children was something special.
He will be sadly missed.

My sincerest condolences to all the family - Dave will leave a big gap in your lives. He was clearly very dearly loved and respected, and it was great to hear everyone's recollections.
I played Golden Oldies and Cavaliers in the forwards with Dave and have many fond memories and remember great camaraderie. Such fun times, never a dull moment.

To Mark and Georgina, Stuart and Kathryn, Grant and families

Our deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of your loved Dad and Grandad

Grant and I met Dave 14 years ago on a rugby trip to South Africa and since that time he has become a dear friend to our family. Lynn, Grant (Captain Hurricane) and I have met up with Dave at our reunions ever since and have many happy memories of our times together. Dave was always the gentleman and included our mum and dad as part of his extended Wozanami family. Grant will miss the texts back and forth as Dave and he competed between their loves for the Hurricanes and Crusaders. We will miss the smiles and the hugs, Rest in Peace our dear friend.
Love Karen, Captain Hurricane, Lynn, Mum and Dad xoxo
