David Silverthorne:
Passed away at Diana Isaac Hospital, age 95. Dearly loved husband of the late Betty Helen. Loved youngest son of the late Arthur Silverthorne and Annie Sarah Henderson. Loved father and father-in-law of Bruce and Liz, Philip and Andrea, Mark and Michelle, and Robyn and Larry Thomas. Loved and adored Grandad of Simon and Lucy, Breana and Shiloh, and Jeremy and Jessica. Many thanks to the Nurses and staff at Diana Isaac Hospital for your care over the last 6 months.
A real gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour, who will be greatly missed.

A service to celebrate David's life will be held at John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Christchurch, on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10.00am followed by Interment at 2:30pm at Hanmer Springs Cemetery.
