David GARLAND Obituary
David Alexander:
On Monday, December 3, 2018, following a battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Beverley of 60 years, loved father and father-in-law of Bruce and Chandra (Canada), Ross and the late Jennifer (USA), Susan (deceased) and Ray Short (Wellington), loving granddad of Jasmine, Daniel and Ali Garland (Canada); Lilli and Alex Garland (USA); Haley, Natasha and Amanda (Wellington). He will be remembered by many in NZ Scouting, Rotary, Probus, and Sea Farers Mission for his outstanding service to his community. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rotary International Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Garland family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Memorial Service to celebrate David's life will be held in the St Mark's Presbyterian Church, 150 Withells Road, Avonhead, on Saturday, December 22, at 2.00pm.
