A huge thank you to Dave for his management of the CRFU Ball Boys. The opportunity he gave to many young people to do this role is one they will remember and always feel privileged and honoured to have had, so again thank you Dave.

Sad for you at your loss

Alex Thomas was in the first intake of students that were lucky enough to attend Addington School. Alex gives Mr Ching a big thumbs up for being a great Principal and so supportive of all the Conductive Education students. Mr Ching made lots of good things happen for people with disabilities right up until he passed away. He was simply one of those people who have a big heart and strong sense of justice. We owe you a lot Mr Ching and will always remember you. From Alex Thomas and the original room fivers x

I had the privilege of being in Mr Chings class for two years at Addington primary in the 1960's. I have often thought of him with fondness over the years; he was a kind and charismatic teacher that could inspire a love of learning in a child. I remember being unwell and having a fainting spell at school and he took me home. I have never forgotten a trick he used to teach us how to spell the word 'business' correctly 'Mr Ness keeps his eye on the bus'. Many years later, I briefly connected with a fellow class mate on the now defunct Old Friends site, he told me, Mr Ching, had also been his favourite teacher and was pivotal in his own choice to become a teacher himself. My thoughts go to his loved ones at this sad time, he will be greatly missed.
