BLANCHARD, David Lory (Lory) M.N.Z.M. WW2, RNZN, HMS Achilles - Passed away suddenly whilst visiting his wife on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Lyndsay. Loved father and father-in-law of Jennifer and Alan Lynn; Christine and Bryan Cormack; Rosemary and Ian Plows (Queensland); Stephen and Marianne Blanchard (Chile); and Jasmine and Jason Brown (Wellington). Treasured grandfather of Katherine and Nicholas; Leanne and Murray; Rachelle and Jason; Justin and Aaron; Melissa, Nathan, Stephen, Christian, and Katherine; Ashleigh, Courtney, and Rebbecca.
