Daryl GODSIFF Obituary
On Saturday, October 29, 2016, surrounded by his family, Daryl went to be with his Heavenly Father. Treasured husband of Karen, adored father of Natalie and David, and Jordan and Danielle, and much loved Poppy to Amalie and Trudi. Loved son of Penn and the late Barbara Godsiff, and Evelyn and the late Bob Millar. Much loved brother of Lynda and Sandy Godsiff, Grant and Lee, and the late Sandy Millar, and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to particularly thank Dr Philippa Ryan and the wonderful Doctors and Nurses on both sides of the Tasman, the Nurse Maude Service and Enable New Zealand for their excellent care and equipment provided. Daryl's Funeral Service will be held at the Sydenham Salvation Army Citadel, 250 Colombo Street, on Monday, November 7, at 11.00am.

To my little mate.
I haven't seen you or your family since leaving NZ in '93. I still have very fond memories of hanging out with you when I was part of the Spreydon Salvation Army Youth Group. Even though I towered over you physically I always looked up to and respected you. I don't have any memories of you without a smile. You will be missed. I'll see you again at the reunion.

Thinking of You all. We had great times at Hodderville Farm with Daryl and Family. The Commonwealth Games in Christchurch. And all the fun we have had Karen in Wellington. Lots of love from Muriel Ross as well.

Dear Karen ... It is many years since we have had contact but we remember you and Daryl often as we passed through New Brighton ... all the fun and laughter our families shared .. our prayers are with you all at this time .. the loss is so hard to get through but thankfully we have the knowledge that its not the end and we will meet again in Heaven.. all our love ...
