On January 31, 2019, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital with family at her side. Loving partner and best friend of Dave Hunter, a very loved daughter 'Malaika' of the late Ronald, Di and Peter, adored sister of Ken and Julia, and an adored aunt. Beloved niece of Stephanie, Beverley, and Lindsay, cherished daughter-in-law of Harry and Colleen Hunter, step-mum of Chris, loving sister-in-law of Margaret, Fran, John, and Clare, and a dear friend. Special thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital for their loving care of Darlene. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Darlene Mineault, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A Celebration of Dar's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside on Thursday, February 7, at 10.00am. Private Cremation thereafter.
