Daphne ROGERS Obituary

Colin and Chinami Rogers, David and Suzanne Rogers, and Sue and Malcolm Falloon wish to announce that their beloved mother Daphne Rogers (nee Close), wife of Wilf Rogers, died in the early hours of Friday, October 18, at age 94. After a life of love, dedication and kindness to all those around her she is now at peace, and will be much-missed by her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her dear friends, and her community. A funeral to celebrate Daphne's life will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane, Rangiora, on Thursday, October 24, at 11.00am. Following the service, the family invite those that wish to join them to All Saints Anglican Church, Burwood, for Daphne's interment. Daphne's service will be livestreamed at www.gulliver-tyler.co.nz/obituaries. Messages to the Rogers family can be sent C/- PO Box 35, Rangiora 7440.

Sorry to read this. Daphne was a lovely lady. She was a great neighbor of Doreen & Bob Bowley. Had many conversations around the dinner table.

Daphne was a lovely member of our St Stephens AAW group for many years when we met at Burwood Church. Great memories of her.
