On Sunday, April 5, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones; in his 75th year. Dearly loved partner of Isamu Nishikata, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Kevin (dec) and Ngarita (Christchurch), Brendan and Lorraine, Jeanette and Pat Treacy (Christchurch), loved uncle, great-uncle, cousin and a friend to many . A celebration of Dan's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2.00pm on Thursday, April 9, followed by private cremation.
