Dame Rosemary Anne
(nee Moon):
Died peacefully at Auckland Hospital on Sunday, May 14, 2023, after a short illness. Loved wife of Michael Horton. Mother of Vicki. Loved sister of Elizabeth Ensor and the late John Moon. Cousin of Frances Morgan-Stock. Step-sister of Sue Bayley. A service will be held at the Cathedral of Holy Trinity, Parnell, Auckland, May 20, at 11.00am.

Rosie was one of a kind and absolutely exemplified the saying "we make a living by what we GET, but we make a life by what we GIVE." She was extremely intelligent, kind and generous, and also outspoken about issues that mattered to her. I had the pleasure of meeting her many years ago and she was always warm and welcoming. I feared for her during COVID and the MIQ debacle and know that it had a significant impact on her and Michael, preventing them from returning to NZ for weeks on end. My heartfelt sympathy to Michael and all the family. May Rosie rest in peace and rise in glory.
