Craig PERCASKY Obituary

On November 18, 2023, aged 59 years. Deeply loved husband and soulmate of Willie, cherished father of Elisa, and Vaughn, much loved stepfather of Jess, and Matthew, treasured Gpop to Kayleigh, Zoe, and Michael, beloved brother of Mikey, and uncle to Peta, Daniel, and Sally. This much loved man-mountain was so many things to so many people. A brother, a cousin, an uncle, a mate. He died in a tragic accident. Words cannot describe how his loss has affected all those who knew and loved him. Forevermore in our hearts and thoughts. Kia hinga he tōtara i te waonui a Tāne. A mighty tōtara has fallen in the forest of Tāne. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Craig Percasky, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Service for Craig will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Tuesday, November 28, at 2.30pm. Words cannot express the depth of emotion felt when the sad news was passed on. From a youngster kicking around Christchurch and learning the ropes with some protective cousins, to the kind and caring gentle man that Craig became. Our sincere condolences to Willie and both immediate and wider family. Love and best wishes, Rob and Wendy (Australia)

Sometimes in life we are lucky if we find a real genuine friend, we found this when our lives crossed paths with you Craig, but it was even more special when we realized we were long lost Cousins. This was so special to me, You always reminded me of my Pop Garlick. I remember the last time you rode with Nod and I home from the Ride for Respect, I was beaming under my helmet thinking how cool is this our Grandparents may not be around anymore but here we were, 2 generations later riding together as Family. Rest easy Cuz. Deb and Nod
