I got to know Craig through a blog I write on the Australian music charts from the 80s and 90s. Craig was a keen follower of music and charts from this period, and like me, Craig liked a lot of the more obscure songs/artists. Charts were just one of several common interests Craig and I shared, and we exchanged several long phone calls and even a video chat.
When Craig returned to Australia in 2021, we made plans to meet during his trip to Melbourne to catch up with a 'cancer buddy', but Craig unfortunately had to cancel his trip due to COVID and border closures.
As Craig was preparing for the end of his life, he generously sent me some of his chart books that I didn't have and ARIA charts he had collected from record stores when he lived in Australia, as he wanted them to go to someone who might use them.
I am saddened to learn of Craig's passing. I wish had gotten to meet Craig and that I'd known him for a longer period than I did.
I send my condolences to Craig's friends and family.
"Kool beanz", as Craig might have said.

My sincerest condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of working with Craig at Jellie Park and he was such a lovely man with a great sense of humor who made me feel very welcome in the Swim education team during my time there. Our thoughts are with you all. Kindest regards
