Cornelis BAAIJENS Obituary

On October 11, 2023, passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Christine. Loved and adored father and father-in-law of Richard and Reggie, and Tanya and Ewen. Loved and treasured Opa of Ailie, Arran and Andrew. Much loved brother of Arie, Chris and Ben, and brother-in-law of Maureen and Roger. Loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Somerfield Rest Home for their care of Cor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John https://www.stjohn.org.nz Messages can be forwarded to the Baaijens family, c/- 18 Seddon Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. A service to celebrate Cor's life will be held in the St John's Church, Leeston, on Thursday, October 19, at 11.00am.

Very sad to hear of Cor's passing. Both he and his late wife Christine were friendly and hospitable souls. We greatly looked forward to and enjoyed our outings with them with the Renault Car Club. Heartfelt condolences to the family.
