CAMFIELD, Constance Mary
(Con or Connie):
On December 18, 2018, a month from her 105th birthday. Devoted wife of the late Eric for 69 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Janet and Mel Tyson, and Graham and Ann Camfield, grandmother of Pauline and Bob, and Hazel and Hayden, and "Great Connie" to Amie, Plum, Herby, and Eli. Treasured aunt to her UK-based nieces and nephews, and an amazing friend to many. Committed member of the Society of Friends (Quakers). Cherished resident of Malvina Major Village since 2009, inspiringly active and independent until very recently, then lovingly cared for in her gentle decline. We will celebrate Connie's life at 11.00am on Monday, December 24, Christmas Eve, at the Malvina Major Chapel, 134 Burma Road, Khandallah, with a Quaker memorial in the New Year. In lieu of flowers, donations to JustSpeak (www.justspeak.org.nz) would be in the spirit of her beliefs.
