Colleen BUTEL Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we advise that Colleen passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Denis Moulin (dec), and Peter Butel, loved mother of Paul (Invercargill), and Daniel (Australia), and loved nana of Jordan (Invercargill). Loved daughter of Bernard and Ivy Lee (both dec) (Christchurch), and loved sister of Leslie (dec), Ian, and Linda. Loved sister-in-law of John (J.B.) (dec) and Val Munro (dec) (formerly Mosgiel), Brian and Bernadette (dec) Butel, and Norah (Auckland), Ivan and Rena Butel (Gore), Betty and Ross Grenfell (Picton), and Pam and John (dec) Boek (Gore). Much loved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. As per Colleen's wish, a private service has been held. No flowers please. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Gore Medical Centre (Dr Glenys Weir) and to staff at Gore and Southland Hospitals, and St John's for their care of Colleen in recent times. Messages to Peter Butel & Family, 13 Broughton Street, Gore 9710.
