SWEENEY, Colin Isaac:
On May 18, 2023, passed away suddenly at home. Dearly loved husband of Evelyn, and father of Michaela. Dearly loved son of Lyn and the late Barry. A much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. A celebration of Colin's life will be held at the Woolston Workingmens Club, 43 Hargood Street, Woolston, Christchurch, on Wednesday, May 24, at 2.00pm. Have known Colin for a time,I remember when he transferred to Christchurch in 1982.
We both altererd course 2008 and worked for BHP WA. for over a decade.
Colin adapted quickly to the cultural change,to become a well respected Enginedriver here and the rail staff here send their condolences.
So,on both sides of the Tasmen,Colin's affable nature and dry wit will be sorely missed.
RIP Colin.
