Hello Sandra, we are sorry to hear of Colin's passing. We have a lot of memories of and with the MacKay and Rosvall families. Colin and I met when we were in the army in the middle Sixties. When Ellen and I got married we found that both he and you were at school with her. It comes about at as we grow older the more of people we know leave this world.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

To Sandra, Courtney and family. The loss of my cousin, Colin came as a shock. Colin's Mum and my Dad were brother and sister. We visited his family in Havelock North many times when we were growing up. When I moved to Marlborough, I made contact but sadly never got to meet up with Colin again. He was certainly a favourite nephew of my late parents. I am really regretting I didn't make a greater effort to get in touch. Thinking of you all at this time. Rest in peace Colin.

Sandra and family, so sorry to hear of Colin's passing....he was a true gentleman, and helped me so much when I was a youngster in the Hastings CIB....he never panicked, despite the odds in many trickey situations....I will always remember him as a very clever and loyal man. Stu Dever. Queenstown

To all of Colin's family, we extend our deepest sympathy at this sad time. I first encountered Colin in Napier and there were many occasions when our paths crossed, also in Waipawa and then Picton. His opinions and assistance were always appreciated and valued. Go in peace, my friend.

Dear Sandra and family.
So sorry to hear of the loss of Colin, a great and gentle man. Colin helped us so much in our early grape-growing days, always generous with his time and practical in his advice. I'm thinking of you all, especially in these disrupted times, when a family loss cannot be commemorated in the way you might have wished. Love and Best wishes: John Kershaw

Our thoughts go out to you Sandra and family. Marlborough has lost a true gentleman, a man who was generous to all of his time and experience. Colin was so positive and supportive, he played an important part in helping us learn to run our Vineyard. We always valued his practical help and advice, given so generously to these two newbies. Even in these extraordinary times of isolation please know that we feel your loss.

Sandra and Family - I am soo heartbroken for you at the loss of Colin. He was possibly the most kind hearted gentleman that I ever worked with. I will be forever grateful for how I got to watch and learn from him during Operation Wilson. The lessons he taught me about how to investigate the most serious of crimes and ensure victims are treated with respect have stayed with me throughout my career. Colin - thank you for helping to shape my career and showing me the way to fight for justice. Arohanui my friend.

So very saddened to hear of Colin's passing. As a young security officer starting my own business in the 1990's Colin was a great support to me and his kindness has never been forgotten. Also in my time with Victim Support, again Colin was a great strength, especially in some of the larger cases we worked on. May the memories that you share give you courage to face your future. Sincere deepest sympathies. M Bowden
