What terrible news, my condolences to everyone on the station - Erin and family, Tim Butcher and family and averyone else. I will always remember Colin's gruff generosity in allowing me and other Lake Clearwater hutholders to raid his woodpile . He'll be remembered every time I chuck a slab of his Douglas fir on the fire.

Erin,
We can't let this moment go by without saying how sorry Jill and I are to hear of Colin's death.
We so enjoyed our recent trip to Erewhon and our time with You and the Clydedales. The information we received as farming people was so special and will never be forgotten.
To now know that your world has been tip upside down makes us truely sorry.
Please accept our deepest sympathy at your huge loss and hope some of the letters you receive are of some comfort.
With Deepest respects
Robert and Jill Reid

Dear Erin and family, sad to hear of Colin's passing. I am truly grateful for the kindness, support and guidance you gave my daughter Kate (Campbell). She always spoke with great fondness of you both, and the time she spent at Erewhon. The time with Colin in the wagon with the Clydie team was truly a special moment for her. Colin will be greatly missed by many.
My thoughts are with you - take care

Hi Erin & family, sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Colin will be sorely missed.
My only connection is through the gorgeous Clydies that magically turn up at the ChCh A&P show each year. How on earth you guys managed to do that is unbelievable. For me they were a main attraction for going to the Show. Good on you all. A legend all round.
Go well. Our thoughts are with you all.
