Clifford TYSON Obituary

Mark passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Dove House Palliative Care Unit,Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, QLD. Sadly he succumbed after a long battle with a rare form of leukemia. He had "caught his last wave" not long before his passing. Loved son of Dick and Betty Tyson (both deceased) and brother of Jim Tyson (also deceased). Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Christine and Peter Bennetts, brother and sister-in-law of Greg and Hazel Tyson and loved uncle of Lara, Xena, Neill, Mike and Paul. Also, dearly loved cousin of Kathryn Perks. Mark was cremated in Caloundra, however his ashes are to be scattered near his home suburb of New Brighton. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mark's life, will be held at New Brighton Surf Lifesaving Clubrooms, on Saturday, April 6, at 11.00am. Mark has asked that such a service be as informal as possible - and that Hawaiian or Surfer themed gear be worn.
