Cleone O'GRADY Obituary

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, peacefully, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Derrick, loved Mum, and mother-in-law of Donna and Chris, Margaret (Maggie) and Brendan, Paula and Gavin, Tracey and Martyn, much loved Nana and Great-Nana of Amy, Caleb (deceased), Ethan, Ashlee, Riley, Jasper, and their extended families, loved sister and sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Cleone O'Grady, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Special thanks to the staff at Ngaio Marsh Village for their care and professionalism. In lieu of flowers, donations to Blind and Low Vision Guide Dog Services would be appreciated and may be made online at: blindlowvision.org.nz. The service to celebrate Cleone's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Wednesday, September 10, at 2.00pm.

To us you were someone special, someone dear and true. You will never be forgotten, because we thought the world of you. Rest in peace.

You on the passing of your dear Mum. I have very fond Memories of Cleone on& off the Tennis Court & also worked for Countdown at Kaiapoi with her at one time. Treasured Memories.

Cleone was a lovely lady. I played tennis with her for years and really

I have such wonderful memories of Cle playing tennis and socialising with my Mum and Dad. She had such an infectious laugh and wonderful smile. You will be sorely missed by us Mrs O.
