Claire passed peacefully in Christchurch Hospital, in the company of her family, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in her 92nd year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Brian, loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Koreti, Cathryn and Daniel (deceased), Julie, Virginia and Graeme, and loved Nana of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Claire McManus, PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 56 Nicholls Road, Halswell, Christchurch on Wednesday, April 16 at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary in the Church on Tuesday, at 7.00pm.

McManus Family,
It is with sadness I hear of Clare my dear racing mate back in the early 2000s passing away. We raced Mighty Cullen with the late Brian who gave us all soooo much enjoyment.
They were great times and I have many photos of you Clare in Gazzas man cave. RIP my dear friend,
