My work in this existence is done. On Wednesday I was recalled to head office; the cancer won in the end. Please note, I have not passed, I have died and am dead, and so am past. Elder son of George and Beryl, and brother of Gregory, I leave behind my widow, the love of my life, Christine Wilson (Chrissie, nee Titheridge), and our much loved children, Scott, Kiri, and Anna. Kiri and her husband, Logan Cudby are the parents of Alice Louise Wilson Cudby, our granddaughter whom I adore, and my step-grandchildren Emily and Luke Cudby who, with their dad, I'm so proud and pleased that they were part of my life. I've asked for a full catholic send-off, so it will be a Requiem Mass. It won't matter if you are an agnostic, atheist, or believer from another team; you will be welcome. It will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, Greers Road, Tomorrow (Wednesday), at 10.30am. The family have requested that masks be worn. So sad to learn that Chris has passed. We were so pleased to have known this fine man and very happy that we were able to catch up again with them both recently during their visit to Nelson. To Christine and family thank you for the nice times shared over the years and the memories of those moments. Our thoughts are with you all during these sad times.

Dear Chrissie and family,
I am so sad to hear of Chris's passing and the news has come to me as a huge shock and with a strong feeling of loss. I fondly remember the many happy occasions I have spent with you and Chris and of also the biennial trips to Wanaka with Chris and friends.
Please accept my sincere condolences at this very sad time. Chris was a big personality and his passing will leave a huge gap in the lives of all those who have been privileged to know him.

Christine and family, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Chris and was able to continue the friendship that came from our working relationship when Chris left.
I am going to miss that incredible sense of humor and the truly enjoyable catch ups that we had. I am however, richer for the time spent with Chris.
My thoughts are with you all at this time, we have lost a true gentleman.
