Christopher DAY Obituary
On Monday, January 22, 2018, in Christchurch, aged 48 years. Dearly loved son of the late Malcolm and Dianne, loved partner of Michelle, loved father of Sophie, Cameron, Haleigh; Sarah, Ashleigh, and Harrison, loved Pop of Jhette, Eviee, Archie, and Isziah, loved brother and brother-in-law of Stephanie and Rhys, loved uncle of Zoë, Jack, and Claudia Williams. Messages may be addressed to the Day Family to c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A private cremation will be held. Chris will be at his home on Saturday, January 27, between 11.00 and 1.00pm for those wishing to pay their last respects. Please email [email protected] for information. A memorial service for Chris will be held at a later date.

We will remember Chris with fond memories of the compassionate, caring and talented man he was. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he always had a smile and laugh at the ready when we walked into his office or spoke to him on the phone. Although Chris was a wonderful person in many ways it will be his sense of humour and side splitting practical jokes that we will remember him for the most. He possessed a smile and laugh that always left you feeling a bit brighter after he left the room. An enormous loss for those people lucky enough to have known him and a definate loss for those who never did.
Farewell Chris. You will be missed my friend.
