Christine taught both my son and daughter ballet until they were early teens. She also taught many of their friends. I particularly would like to remember her for her generosity; she taught my daughter's friend from 5 to 8 years old for free, because the family could not afford the lessons and she believed it really helped her ADHD - it did. Christine was a tireless, suffer no fools, straight talking dance teacher. The children always knew she cared, and she had a wicked sense of humor. My kids still quote some of her lines to this day and they're well in their twenties. I only realised that Christine was gone today, as I looked her up because my daughter wanted to return to dance as an adult. Christine, you will be sadly missed. There is no one who can replace you, but sadly as you gave my daughter the love of dance from the age of 3. We must be satisfied with second best. God rest you, and may you smile up there when you watch the legacy you have left down here. Thank you from The Peggs

Christine taught my son to dance and more recently when she was a little more frail I would take her shopping. We had many laughs together and I will miss her Maggie xx
