DOVE, Charlie:
19.1.1932 - 23.3.2016 Home is the sailor home from the sea, passed
away peacefully surrounded
by loving family. Loved father of Donna, Yvonne, and Josephine, friend and father-in-law to Stephen and the late Andy. Much loved grandfather of Sophie and Joseph. Cherished and respected friend to many. Messages c/- the Dove family to PO Box 35046, Christchurch 8640. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fred Hollows Foundation or The Salvation Army would be appreciated and may be made at the service. At Charlie's request, a private cremation has been held and a memorial service will be held at the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, Linwood Avenue, on Tuesday, March 29, at 11.00am.

We are sorry to lose such a lovely neighbour - Charlie helped us so much over the years - looking after pets and shutting the door when the girls went off to school leaving it wide open ! We miss that friendly face at the letterbox very much - Charlie was always there for a chat - The Hartwell Family
