Charles Joseph Peter (Peter):
Passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021, aged 77 years after bravely battling multiple myeloma for 13 years. Peter was a much loved and adored husband of Andree, youngest brother to seven loving siblings, dad to Wayne and Tanya, grandad to Stefanie, Tuscany, Daniel, and Gianni, father-in-law to David and Heidi, uncle to so many, and loyal friend to more. Peter's strength and cheeky spark will remain alive in us. Thank you to all staff in Christchurch Hospital for treating Peter like a rockstar during his many visits, Dr Ruth Spearing for being by Peter's side every step of the way, Nurse Maude carers and nurses for caring for him at home, especially Esther and Janice, to Alan, Nev and Dave who were his faithful companions to the end. Finally, thank you to Sheila, and so many others, who has, and is supporting Andree. Private cremation has been held.
