Charles CORNISH Obituary

On Friday, December 27, 2024, peacefully at Rose Court, after a sudden and short illness, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Joan. Treasured father and father-in-law of Debra and Neil Porter, the late Nathan, and Suzanne Cornish. Cherished Grandfather of Rebecca and Alex Newland, Charles and Ange Porter, Ashleigh, Sophie and Dominic Cornish. Precious Great-Grandfather of Hunter, Scarlett, Maddie, Lucy and Frankie. Loved brother of the late Norma Wood, Jill Weeks and Murray Cornish. Special thanks to the staff of Ward A8 Christchurch Hospital and the staff at Rose Court for their love, care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canterbury Cancer Society would be appreciated. Messages may be addressed to 'The late Wayne Cornish's Family', c/- P O Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A private cremation was held on Monday, December 30, and a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
