Celia was also our neighbour and a dependable one at that. We never had to be concerned when we went away because we know she would be there to mind our property. It´s most odd knowing that she is not there.
Our sincere sympathies go to the Hodgins family and friends. RIP Celia.

I´m sad Celia has gone. She welcomed me as a new neighbour and someone new to Christchurch with warmth and food at regular intervals. We had lovely chats and we worked together to improve her view from her kitchen. She was warm and caring and very much missed.

Celia was just such an amazing person. We had so many great times at Cardinal Labs all those years ago. Every time we caught up it was a great pleasure as we reminisce on the old days and catch up on what has been happening since last time. It is so sad we will no longer be able to do that. RIP Celia, a shining light taken from us.

Dear Celia, my neighbour but more so a friend. I will miss your enthusiastic phone calls to see how my day was going and what you had been doing.
You were so lovely with my grandsons. Bringing over treats for them when you knew they were visiting. They loved you.
You had a knack of knowing when I had been too busy to eat and would appear like an Angel with something you´d made for me to eat. You would say have it for your lunch or dinner and I would gobble it down right there and then cos I was hungry.
I loved our chats in your beautiful garden talking about your trees and plants. You had green fingers.
I could go on and on but won´t but I will always have lovely memories of yours and mine friendship!
RIP Celia, taken way too soon.
