Catherine FITZGERALD Obituary

Betty passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Monday, April 6, 2026, aged 97 years. She was the much-loved wife of the late Frank, and a dearly loved youngest sister of the late Frank, Eileen, Pat, Ted, Joan and Colin. A fun-loving Aunty to all her nephews and their families. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Lady Diana Isaac Retirement Village for their care and love shown to Betty over the past 4 years. Previous to that, she was an active, long-time resident of Mountain View Village, Timaru. Life member and avid golf enthusiast of the Gleniti Golf Club, Timaru. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 6.00pm at St Thomas' Church, 12 Mountain View Road, Timaru. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Betty also at St Thomas' Church on Wednesday, April 15 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Timaru Cemetery.
