Amazing day on your 85th birthday being able to share it with you.Day full of happiness and laughter.

I was privileged to have many of my childhood 'firsts' with the O'Rourke's....and Cathie was a big part of that. Iain was my 'first' friend so that meant the 'first' sleepover and later on my 'first' job at the Hopkins St shop. I have enduring memories of long hot summer days with the sounds of the Eagles playing in the background at Findlay Place. I know now that behind the scenes things in the 70's weren't always as they seemed, however Cathie always had a smile & made us feel welcome...A truly wonderful lady.

I miss you all. I remember her warm smile and the kind hugs. She always makes me happy. I'll never forget her.

So sad to hear the news Cathie passed away. Cathie and I were workmates for some years she was always so happy and bubbly and positive and fun to work with.

Cathie was a lovely lady who I was privileged to have got to know through line dancing. I enjoyed listening to her talking about her life with lots of laughs and joy. She will be missed by all those who knew her at line dancing. RIP Cathie
