Cassilis BENFIELD Obituary

On Saturday, August 26, 2023, aged 80 years, Cass passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Loved father of Lydia, and Guy and father-in-law of Cameron, and Rosie, adored `Pop' to Olivia, and Toby, and `Cass' to Hunter, and Jamie, deeply cherished by Alison `Mem', his `Sweetheart' of 25 years and her daughters Kate, and Anna and their families, loved ex-husband of Libby, dear brother to Jane and the late Bill, David, and Rod, friend to so many. Many thanks for the special care shown by Jeannine and Gladys at Westmar in Darfield and to Parkstone Rest Care in his final days. Cass was a man of the mountains, bush and sea - a lover of nature who `had the time of his life'! A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
