Carolyn SIMPSON Obituary

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, aged 63 years. Darling loved wife of Victor, very special Mum of Cullen, and Dylan, daughter of the late Val and Bruce Woodham, loved sister, and sister-in-law of Jude and Kevin, Christine and Cedric, Peter, Rodney and Eve, Lenadene, Pou, Henry and Marion, and John, much loved and precious aunty, great-aunty, and friend to many. Carolyn was the life of the party, who was always late, and lived her life to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated, and may be made online at rmhc.org.nz. The funeral service for Carolyn will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction, and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Saturday, October 18, at 10.30am. In honour of Carolyn's zest for life, please wear brightly coloured, or white clothing. Private interment to be held in Gisborne.
