Carol SPICER Obituary

Passed suddenly, but peacefully, with family, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 73. Special thanks to Georgine for everything. Beloved wife of the late Melville Spicer. Loved daughter of the late Doug and Lorna. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Maria, Ange and Matt, and Bryan. Loved Gran of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Garry and Ann, Judy, and Vicky and Graeme. Loved aunty and great-aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend to Des Holland, and many others. Cherished by all who knew her. Will be missed but never forgotten. Messages to the Spicer family, c/- PO Box 10335, Christchurch 8145. Carol's funeral service will be held in the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, cnr Linwood Ave and Keighleys Road, on Friday, September 6, at 2.00pm, followed by a private interment.

My condolences to all the family.
We met as families when Judith and my Sister Barbara went to Sumner School for Deaf back in the late 50s. The Harris family lived in Taranaki in those days and we became friends.
Carol and I were the same age and the contact between families continued for many years.
Thank you to the Harris family and I share in your loss of Carol. Blessings on those that remain and may Corol rest in piece.
