Carl WHITEN Obituary

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, peacefully, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family and friends, aged 31 years. Loved husband and soulmate of Beth, adored Dad of Zac, and Phoebe, much loved son of Ralph and Angela, loved brother, and brother-in-law of Rochelle and Ryan, Jack and Lauren, loved uncle of Levi, respected son-in-law of Kim and Barry, like a brother to his boys, loved cousin, nephew, colleague, dog-dad to Forrest and Kevin, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Carl Whiten, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Brain Tumour Support NZ would be appreciated, and may be made online at braintumoursupport.org.nz. The funeral service in celebration of Carl's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Thursday, March 27, at 10.00am.

Carl thank you for your laughs, your positivity and your ear when we needed to vent. You were an amazing colleague. The type of guy who would give you a hand no matter what it was, who would take the time to explain things to people and who always had some quick witted joke.
