Bryan MOOAR Obituary

In his 86th year, Bryan passed away peacefully at "The Oaks" on Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026. Bryan was so very dearly loved by Lyane, and the much loved Dad and Dad-in-law of Gerard and Kate, Joff and Kate, and Bradley and Anna. He was the adored and fun loving "Burt" of Henry, Olivia and Molly; "Grando" of Louis and Bryn; and "Burtie" of Laura, Charlie and Sam. Eldest son of the late Elwyn and Les Mooar, and loved brother of Lesley Larkin and Mark Mooar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conductive Education Canterbury at [email protected]. Messages to the Mooar family c/- PO Box 11101, Sockburn, Christchurch 8443. A private funeral service has been held. A Celebration of Bryan's life will be held in Addington Raceway Spectator's Bar, on Wednesday, March 4, at 1.30pm. We'd love to see you all there.
Fly high Bryan, you deserve it.
