The Family of Bruce Morris Wright announce, with great sadness, his passing on Thursday, April 22, 2021, peacefully in Christchurch, after a short illness bravely fought. Son of John and Laura Wright (both deceased), brother of John William, and Valerie Hines (nee Wright), (both deceased), and dearly loved uncle of Mark and Carol Wright, and great-uncle to Fraser, and Maisie Wright (UK). Bruce will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege of meeting him. He will be remembered as a true and kind gentleman with a heart of gold. His smile touched many. Our heartful thanks to Homesteadcare Ilam, and staff, for their exceptional love and kindness shown to Bruce. The Funeral to celebrate Bruce's life will be held in St Barnabas Anglican Church, 137 Fendalton Road, on Thursday, April 29, at 12.00pm.

Bruce was a truly kind gentleman, we are so proud to have known you and shared and listened to your stories about your many travels around the world and your life experiences. Our lives were so much better for having you in it and we are going to miss you so so much. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting you will I am sure remember you with great fondness too.
