Bruce WOOD Obituary

On July 12, 2025, peacefully at Ashley Suites, The Russley Village, in his 85th year. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Barbara for 59 years, loved Dad and father-in-law of Steph and Onno, Karyn and Dean, and loved Grandad of Tom and Bex, Nic and Fliss, Emily, and Greg. Respected eldest brother and brother-in-law of Jude (deceased), and Alan and Liz, and Jack and Colleen.

Special thanks to Dr. Andrew Butler, and the staff at Christchurch Hospital Haematology and Ashley Suites, for their care and professionalism. To Barbara and family sorry to hear of Bruces Passing . Lots of memories from living on the same street Maling Street to the Pharmarcy Bruce built up a very successful business . A great asset to the community today . Thanks Bruce for envolment within the community , the swimming pool a favourite place for me in the summer with love from Lynda

To Barbara and the wider Wood family

Very sorry to hear that Bruce has passed away. Lots of memories over the years from my first job in the pharmacy to swimming club etc. I loved the surprise of meeting up with him in the pharmacy in latter years and catching up on family happenings.

He will be sadly missed.
