On December 25, 2018, surrounded by love with his family at his side. Loved husband of the late Gillian (Jill). Loved father, father-in-law, and friend of Angela, Kim and Murray, Jamie and Cherie. Grandad and Pops of Ashleigh, Caleb, Aleisha, Charlie, Lydia, Brayden and Myles.

Thank you to Arohanui Hospice staff and volunteers for your wonderful care of our Dad. A service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, December 31, at 2.00pm, followed by the interment at Timaru Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North, would be gratefully accepted and may be left at the service. Messages to Wilson Family, C/- PO Box 4091, Highfield, Timaru, 7942.

I managed to meet you once since I left school in 1962 Bruce. It was so nice to know your granddaughter was my niece. All those years ago as boys in the hills above Motueka is still clear in my mind. It was a pleasure to know you. My heartfelt condolences to Bruces family. Lex Bloomfield.
