Bruce THOMPSON Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce that Bruce passed away at Burwood Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2025, aged 80. Much loved and respected husband of Barb; cherished father of Bevan, and Steph and Grant Hopkins; proud grandfather of Hugo, Stella, and Isla; dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Tom and Sally, and Janet and Alan; and beloved uncle of Oskar, Megan, Victor, Madeleine, Russell, Ruth, Joanna, Hilary, Hugh, and Rosie. Many thanks to the marvellous team in Ward DG, Burwood Hospital for their care and support. As per Bruce's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Stroke Foundation which can be made directly online at https://donate.stroke.org.nz/ Bruce's warm smile and adventurous spirit will live on in our memories.
