Bruce SUTHERLAND Obituary

It is with grief and much sadness that Judith and family announce the passing of our dear Bruce at Nurse Maude Hospice on Sunday, July 14, 2024, aged 82 years. Treasured husband of Judith for 59 years, loved father and father-in-law of Jane and Andrew, Andrew and Katherine, Mark and Lucy, Matthew and Kathryn, and David (deceased). Cherished Granddad of William and Lydia (UK), and Olivia and Jack; Georgia, and Maddison; Benjamin, Gabriella, and Claudia; Harry, and Macey, Great-Granddad of Fergus (UK). Loved brother of Jillian, and Malcolm (deceased), special uncle of Stefanie. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Our grateful thanks to Te Whatu Ora and the medical teams involved with Bruce's care, especially the Christchurch Hospital staff in the Haematology, Radio Oncology, Orthopaedics, and General Medicine departments, Ward D1 at Burwood Hospital, Nurse Maude Hospice and Cashmere Health.
