Peacefully, on Christmas Day, 2025, aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Barbara, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Grant and Nicky, Murray and Jill, and Judith and Ian. Proud grandfather of Katie, Sam, Gemma, Becky, Maddie, Juliet, and Chas. Great grandfather of Harry, James, Toby, Theo, Joshua, Lily, Sebastian, Camila, Felix, and Amelia. Proud life member of the Union Rowing Club and Past Master of Lodge Centennial 358, Christchurch.

A mighty oak has fallen
