Bruce FISHER Obituary
On Monday, January 16, 2023, aged 80 years. It is with great sadness that after a long illness we announce the passing of Bruce. A dearly much loved husband, soulmate and best friend of Maureen. A loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Anna, Jo and Mark, adored grandad of Brittany, Harriett, Olivia, Charlotte, Jordie, Digby, Cassidy and Ella. Bruce was a passionate cattle breeder. He was a legend in the Charolais breed, the farming industry and the local community. He will be hugely missed. Messages for Bruce may be posted to the Fisher Family, C/- PO Box 31300, Ilam, Christchurch 8444. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Bruce will be held at Tai Tapu Community Centre (in the Rhodes Park Reserve, off Old Tai Tapu Road), on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Dear Maureen and family
We were so sorry to read of Bruce´s passing.
We will remember him forever - he loved to have a yarn around the cattle pens at any show ground.
He will be at peace now and no more suffering. A wonderful man who didn´t deserve to suffer.

In my career I have dealt with several hundred rural people.. and amongst them a few special rural people.
Bruce was one of those...a gentleman, a stockman and a "people person" who always had a genuine interest in others.
Privledged to have been involved with Bruce and the Fisher family.

Sad to hear this Fisher family. Deepest sympathy. Fond memories of the good old days with Charolais. Sorry I can't attend the funeral not too well myself!
