Bruce BUNNY Obituary

On Monday, September 4, 2023, peacefully at Edith Cavell Lifecare, surrounded by his loving family, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of the late Norma for 65 years. Adored and loved father and father-in-law of Anne and Mick, Debbie and Doug, Allan and Marg, and Kirsty and the late John. Cherished Poppa of Mel and Tony, Kelly and Sarah, Jesse, Angela, Nicola and Iain, Michelle and Dale, Mike and Liv, Steve and Michelle, Hamish, Jud and Amanda, and all his great grandchildren. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Edith Cavell Lifecare for their care and compassion. Messages to the Bunny family c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, Christchurch, on Monday, September 11 at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.

So many memories, so many laughs, some even nervous laughs as we paddle down the Waimak but the ever positive fearless leader showing us the best/safest routes down through the obstacle course of the rock garden, tackling the tricky bends.. a true legend, one that we all inspired to beat, many of us never did. Rest in peace mighty racer. You will always be in my stories and never forgotten xxx
