The Reverend Canon
Bruce Arthur Westenra:
On Sunday, February 11, 2018, aged 92 years. Loved and adored husband of the late Annette. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sarah and Jonathan; Joanna and Kevin; Nicola and Justin; Rosemary and Chris; Peter and Susan. Loved Grandpa of Rebekah, Hannah, Bethany, and Jessica; Melanie, and Hayley; Tristan, Felicity, and Annabelle; Daniel, and Alexandra; Gabrielle, Oliver, and Liam; and loved great-Grandpa of his 18 great-grandchildren. Bruce's family thank Dr Jacobs and the wonderful staff at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village for their love and care. Messages may be addressed to the Beckett family C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Funeral Service for Bruce will be held at St Barnabas Anglican Church, 145 Fendalton Road, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Friday), at 11.00am.

Dear dear Bruce....you were always such an encourager to us. Always willing to help and offer advice when asked. Russell so appreciated your help with preaching at Mt Herbert and all of the other work you lovingly took on. Anna loved painting alongside you at the Diamond Harbour art group...you were so encouraging and so talented. Most of all we loved the joy of the Lord that shone out of you always and all ways. We miss you. But we are so excited you have entered your eternal home and your reward for a life of faithfulness. Love Russell and Anna Pickersgill-Brown
