Bronwyn HYDER Obituary

Passed away unexpectedly on October 9th, 2025, aged 78 years. Cherished Father of Bronwyn and Emma-Kate, Stepfather to Matthew, Ben and Louise. Much loved Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. The family would especially like to thank all the emergency services and Bron's work Colleagues who attended to him. Messages may be addressed to the "Hyder family" c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask donations for Hato Hone St John at www.donate.stjohn.org.nz A celebration of Bron's life will be held at the Lincoln Union Church, 20 James Street, Lincoln, on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at 1.30pm.

I was with Bron on the Scotland/Ireland tour in August. He was so happy to experience the music, sites and be amongst a lovely group of people. He was always smiling, and joined in, in the fun and laughter. He was a true gentleman.

Bron was on the Celtic tour in August and we all said what a lovely gentleman he was. He was very interested and enthusiastic about visiting new places and meeting new friends.
