Brian SPAIN Obituary

SPAIN, Brian Beaton:
Brian passed peacefully at the Southland Hospital on February 7, 2023, with Ruth and Melissa at his side. Brian was just so tired and worn out, he wanted to go. It was his time. Brian's family, Ruth, Fergus, Stephen, Bev, Melissa, Kaylee, Greg, Rebecca, Tait, Logan, and Jack want to give special thanks to Doctor Jo Krysa, Dunedin Hospital Ward 4, and her team for your many years of care you gave Brian. Also, the Dunedin Hospital Doctors and team Ward 7, many thanks to the Southland Hospital and St John's who took care of Brian many times. Special thanks to Mrs Alice Febery who gave Brian three more years he never wasted. To the Christchurch Hospital, St John's and the fire brigade, thank you for your kindness. To Brian's mates and friends, if you didn't phone him or call in, he would phone you. We thank you all very much. Thank you for the flowers, cards, and baking. Thanks also to Avenal Park Funeral Home for taking care of Brian and Roger Scheele for taking Brian's service. Brian is now at peace and was laid to rest beside his son, Blair at the Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill.
