Thank you, Sally, Maria and Gary, Reon and Pam.
Those were wonderful days back then and those memories will never fade. I could add swimming at the Baths and/or the Caves; boxing sessions with Ed C; watching Edgar checking who was at Mass - and who wasn't!; sack races galore ; playing marbles till one of the Sisters of Mercy chased us home for tea; so many happy times and, of course, waiting on "Toke" to arrive with the Turf Digest and/or Friday Flash to sort out our "winners"
Brian raced a number of horses in Australia in small shares with Bruce Brown, of Eagle Farm, his friend and trainer. He named one of them Oscar's Lot in memory of his school nickname Oscar. He really enjoyed doing that.
It was a sad ending to a busy life but he was a warrior to the last.
May he Rest In Peace.

Rosanowski Family
We have fondest memories of Brian as he was part of all the families that lived up the Terrace end of Reefton. It has been many years since we had seen him. Our sympathy goes to you all and may God Give you strength and comfort through these sad times.

Rosanowski Family,
It was with great sadness I learn't of Brian's death. We were good schoolboy pals and although the years have separated our connection through living in different countries, those boyhood days are vividly etched in ones memory.
The excitingly competitive soapbox derby events around the Rosanowski 'home circuit' with Rupee, Johnny Globe, SkeanDhu and other famous racing names competing in intense but spectacular rivalry will be treasured in the minds of now ageing racing dreamers with wonderful pleasure and smiles.
Brian won't be forgotten, but will remain in the thoughts and prayers of all our wider family.
In sincerest sympathy,
Reon & Pam Murtha.
