So sorry to read of the passing of Brian. Brian was our solicitor and helped us with our first property purchase years ago and every property since. He was so lovely in helping my Mum & Dad with their affairs and then dealing with their estates. We would often talk about our families and see him on the sidelines at sport. Thoughts to Brian´s family.

Brian has been our Solicitor for nearly 50 yrs. But he is more than that. Brian has seen us through thick and thin, has given advice, guidance, loyal service and been a steadfast friend throughout.
We loved his humour, his subtlety, his thorough and particular approach to everything he did for us.
Simply irreplaceable.
Our heartfelt love and sympathy to Lindy and all the family. Derek and Adele Jones

Back in the late 60s we'd have extended family 'get togethers' at mum and dads (Mary + John Kinley) (Brian was Dad's cousin). Brian was the designated pianist and we'd all drink and sing along. My absolute favourite was his rousing rendition of "Maori Battalion" (no sheet music required). All the Kinley replies would join in ~ singing or haka~ing along. . . Drove through Kaiapoi yesterday and saw where Aunty Doris/Uncle Dick/Brian/Derek lived. Rest In Peace Brian. I'm sure there'll be a GRANDpiano in HEAVEN
