On May 13, 2024, at Burwood Hospital at 8.32pm. Dearly loved son of the late Nancy and George Green. Treasured and true love and soulmate of the late Kay Frances Green. Much loved, adored and respected father of Toni, Joanna, and Mark and partner Michelle. Dearly loved Grandfather (Greenie) of Lexie, Brodie, Zachary, Jess, Willow, Autumn, Chloe, Levi and Harley. Great-grandfather to Paulie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Barrie and Fay Green, and Margaret and Owen Frew.

Our leader, confidant, teacher, and simply magic Brian, Dad, Greenie is now with his soulmate and true love, our Mum, Nanny Kay. Sail well with the utmost love, respect, and with all of our hearts.

Greenie's family are extremely grateful to Barrington Medical Centre, Christchurch Public Hospital, and Burwood Hospital, and the wraparound services received from Nurse Maude, Crest, and acute demand teams in the last few weeks. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army online are welcome. A Funeral to celebrate Brian's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London and Whitmore Streets, on Tuesday, May 21 at 1.00pm.
