Brian GEORGE Obituary
On September 18, 2016, Brian passed away peacefully, aged 78 years. Dearly loved Dad of Margy and Darin, Lisa and Scott, Chris, and Steph, loved Grandad of Ryan, Josh, Andrew, Tyler and Ricky, Nicole, Mitchell, Jesse, and Matty. Loved son of Bert and Laura, loved brother of Audrey, and the late Marie, John, Graham, Eric and Patricia, and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Thank you to everyone who loved and cared for our Dad. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Brian George, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association of NZ would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Service for Brian will be held in our AvonPark Chapel, corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Friday, September 23, at 2.00pm.

I was so sad yesterday to hear belatedly of Brian's passing. I knew that he was unwell and I had phoned him a few times over that period. When he wasn't answering his phone and then it got cut off yesterday I began to worry. Like many of my friends and family members I went to Brian for Spiritual direction. Brian had the best connection with Spirit that I have ever experienced. Generous, kindness and directness where three great qualities Brian possessed.
I am so sorry for your family's loss of such a great man.It must be so hard to bear.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Brian. Dearly loved son, brother, uncle and confidante to many. He will be sorely missed and leave a big space in our hearts.
